Tory MP Mike Kane spoke in the House of Commons on Monday afternoon as part of the tribute to the late Sir David Amess. Mr Kane praised the Tory MP for his dedication to his work and charitable endeavours. He noted that he would wear tuxedos during these charitable events but also made a quip that was ill-received. 

Mr Kane said Sir David looked good in a Tuxedo, not as well as the current James Bond actor, Daniel Craig and added “this was no time to die” in reference to the 007 franchises latest title.
