Army of sick fans ‘fantasise about sex with twisted Columbine massacre killers’

An army of sickos across the world still worship and hope to emulate the evil Columbine massacre killers.

Forensic psychologist Dr Kris Mohandie, who has studied vile pair Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, says the mass murderers are responsible for ‘copycat’ attacks in a range of place including Finland, Brazil, Canada and Germany.

He claims that in dark corners of the internet the anniversary date of April 20 is considered sacred by cult-like worshipers who long to visit their graves and have sex with them.

Perpetrators Harris and Klebold committed one of the most infamous school shootings ever when they gunned down 12 students and a teacher at Columbine High School in Columbine, Colorado, on April 20, 1999, before cowardly turning their guns on themselves.

More than 21 years later deranged followers of the teenage outcasts still revere their sickening crimes.

Dr Mohandie: “The would-be perpetrators often reference the writings and videos of Harris and Klebold, consider them heroes or martyrs, seek to one-up them, visit their graves and the campus, choose the anniversary date of the Columbine shootings for their day of violence and fantasise that they are simpatico with the long dead murderers.

“At least 74 known murder plots have been inspired by Columbine worldwide. Fifty-three were interrupted by law enforcement, while 21 attacks occurred, leaving at least 89 dead and 126 wounded, with nine of the attackers taking their own lives.

“Fatal Columbine-inspired plots have also occurred in Finland, Germany, Canada and most recently Brazil while plans have been uncovered and thwarted virtual throughout the United States and the industrialised world.

“The number of foiled attacks is well over 100, I assure you, having worked on a half-dozen interrupted cases since the cases were compiled in 2015.”

Harris was 18 and Klebold 17 when they slaughtered 12 of their schoolmates along with teacher Dave Sanders.

They wounded 24 others before killing themselves. The pair have since become pop culture figures and heroes among their unhinged followers.

One of the planned ‘copycat’ massacres saw two British teenagers plan a Columbine-style school massacre in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

Thomas Wylie and Alex Bolland, both 14 when arrested in 2017, planned to shoot and kill pupils and teachers and had drawn up a ‘hit-list’ of targets who they believed had bullied and wronged them.

The pair were given 10 and 12-year custodial sentences for conspiracy to murder in 2018.

Harris and Klebold planned their reign of terror for more than a year before the massacre, writing about their intentions in journals and making a series of chilling tapes.

Some interpreted the massacre as a response to bullying at the school but others think it was more likely they wanted to spark anarchy across the USA.

Dr Mohandie thinks the tragedy could have been avoided.

He said: “Even Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were not completely lost causes before they carried out the Columbine attack.

“While clearly evil in their intentions, they telegraphed so much of their plans in advance that had we known then what we know now about these sort of kids, that assault may well have been prevented.

“While she (Klebold’s mum Sue) may not have known his specific violent plans, there were multiple flags she was aware of, including a violent paper he had turned in a few weeks prior to the massacre, and the fact that Dylan had asked her for a gun as a Christmas present.

“She was out of touch, minimised what was going on with her son, partially blaming the school for causing his alienation, as opposed to the absence of parental structures, boundaries and limits. Her one admission of error was that she should have listened more.”
