Tuesday will not be as windy as it has been in past days, but the temperatures will remain warm. The National Weather Service in Boulder reports winds will be light variable in the afternoon with speeds up to 8 mph in the Denver metro area. Expect sunny skies with a high near 80 degrees.
Clouds will come in later Tuesday night, winds will pick up some speed. The low for the night will hit 51 degrees.
The breeze will return by Wednesday afternoon, and the sun is expected to stick around. Wind speeds will start between 11 to 16 mph before ramping up to 17 to 22 mph by the afternoon. In some places, winds could go as fast as 31 mph. The high is predicted to reach 80 degrees.
By Wednesday night, NWS expects a significant temperature drop with a low of 36 degrees. Wind speeds may stay the same as they were during the day.
