Meghan Markle is now a mother-of-one and married to a royal, but before meeting Prince Harry she shared details of her private life online.
The 39-year-old former actress would often share personal blogs on her lifestyle blog, The Tig, but gave it up once she met Prince Harry.
As well as sharing her hopes and dreams, travel and food tips, Suits star Meghan used the blog to admit some of the things she's not so proud of – including an "unladylike" habit she has after enjoying a few drinks.
In a New Year's post at the beginning of 2016, Meghan admitted to her followers that she had made the same two resolutions every single year.
The pretty brunette divulged that the two things she always hoped to give up are swearing and biting her nails.
"The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks," she wrote.
"And when it comes to the biting of the nails—well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day.
Queen 'decided within two seconds to ban Prince Harry from laying Cenotaph wreath'
"It's unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit."
However, it seems that in 2016 she decided to take a different approach to setting herself challenges for the year ahead.
Just months before meeting Prince Harry in June, Meghan said that she hoped to accept the unexpected and enjoy the things that weren't planned.
"For this new year, the only thing I aim to do is to approach life playfully," she continued.
"To laugh and enjoy, to keep my standards high but my level of self-acceptance higher.
"My New Year's resolution is to leave room for magic. To make my plans, and be okay if they sometimes break.
"To set my goals, but to be open to change. To let the magic know that there is an open door policy with me in 2016 and that it is always welcome to join the party."
She added: "I invite you to do the same. Have a beautiful, blissful, and incredibly magical 2016. So grateful to be with you on the ride."
Fast forward five years and Meghan has kicked off 2021 by introducing a brand new podcast alongside her 36-year-old husband.
The exclusive deal with Spotify is worth a reported £30million and was announced in December.
Episode one by Archewell Audio is titled "2020 holiday special" and features the gospel song This Little Light of Mine, which royal fans might remember was played at the end of the couple's 2018 wedding.
The description for the episode reads: "Curated throughout the month of December, join them as they reflect on the year, speak openly about the power of compassion and toast to a hopeful 2021."
