Men and dog brutally stabbed during scuffle at wake

Two men and a dog have been stabbed after a scuffle at a wake in Peckham, South London, according to reports.

Metropolitan Police Officers raced to Comercial Way shortly after 11pm on Tuesday following reports of men brawling.

When police arrived they found two men, both believed to be in their 20s and a dog with stab injuries.

One of the men’s injuries was assessed as being non-life-threatening and he refused further medical treatment.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

“A crime scene has been put in place. Enquiries continue.”

Witnesses said the brutal attack happened at a wake.

The witness said: “This was a family wake and there were masked men with guns and knives and dogs.”

Another witness told Daily Star Online there were about 25 police cars near the Damilola Taylor Centre.

Harrowing pictures taken close to where the stabbing happened show blood splattered on the pavement and a police cordon is in place.
