A paedophile passed out at a police station after he was caught red-handed trying to meet an underage boy for sex at KFC.
Steven Johnson fell into the trap of the police's sting operation and was found messaging a 14-year-old "boy" named Oli – not realising it was actually an undercover cop.
The moment of Johnson's arrest was captured on bodycam footage and shown Channel 4's new documentary Undercover Police: Hunting Paedophiles.
In the messages he sent to "Oli", he asked: "You looking for fun?"
"Oli" replied: "Yeah I am but I'm 14, if I'm too young for you that's chill."
The 59-year-old suggested they could meet up at a KFC car park in Bedfordshire and explained: "We can find quiet place where no one about just w**k and suck."
Footage shows Johnson parking up outside the fast food restaurant and being confronted immediately by the waiting police, who arrest him on the spot.
"I can't do this," he pleads.
Johnson is then taken to the police station where the officers question him and confirm the details of the crime act.
Clearly in shock, he struggles to walk straight and shows signs of exhaustion.
Gasping for air while walking into the police station, Johnson tells the officer: "I feel a bit nauseous."
And moments later, he faints and collapses to the ground.
The undercover officer spoke in the background: "If you're arrested for an offence of this type, because it's so emotive, the impact is huge.
"Apart from the fact that they're facing a significant sentence, they're probably gonna lose their family life, their job, their standing in the community. It's enormous."
Johnson pleaded guilty to arranging a child sex offence and attempted sexual communication with a child based on the crime act on June 24, 2019, and was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.
