The release of 'Harry and Meghan' on Netflix has left the Prince delighted as a source claimed he hopes it could create a path to reconciliation with his brother Prince William.

Harry is said to be thrilled with how its coming across and according to reports, he hopes the docu-series could shed some light on the struggles he and his wife Meghan Markle have faced in recent years.

A source has claimed that Harry is aiming for a possible reconciliation with his father King Charles and brother Prince William.

An unnamed insider, who is a close friend of Princess Diana, spoke to The Mirror and said: "Harry is delighted with the narrative of the documentary and how he and Meghan came across.

"The reason for doing this was to share their truth on their lives. He feels it told the story he wanted the world to hear and has absolutely no regrets."

The source continued: "Harry and Meghan hope family members and courtiers will watch or, more importantly, listen to their comments. But they know nothing they speak about will be addressed in public.

"They hope it may prompt a greater understanding from the King and the Cambridges of how Harry and Meghan feel about their experiences in England. Harry retains hope for a reconciliation. He loves his father and brother, no matter what people think."

In the first three episodes, Harry and Meghan insisted on their claims of racism within the Royal Family and the intense nature of the media which Harry directly confronted.

He said: "No one knows that full truth. We know the full truth, the institution knows the full truth, and the media knows the full truth because they’ve been in on it."

His mother Princess Diana similarly spoke out against the Royal Family in the famous Panorama interview in 1995 as the source spoke about Diana's reasoning for speaking out on various issues, including her struggle with bulimia.

"One of Diana’s reasons for speaking out was to help senior royals have an understanding of the impact on others caught up in the Firm," said the source.

"She and Harry were both brave enough to fight back."
