Prince Harry yelled "what the hell" at the Queen in an outburst, according to a royal biographer.
The alleged altercation took place in the lead-up to his wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018, and centred around a rumoured conflict over the bride's headpiece that's become known as "tiara-gate".
In an interview with True Royalty TV, Omid Scobie — author of biography Finding Freedom — said Harry's outburst came after months of tension with Palace staff.
He believed they would "stop at nothing to make Meghan's life difficult" before she officially married into the Royal Family, Scobie claims.
The specific target of Harry's anger was Angela Kelly, the Queen's senior dresser since 2002, according to Scobie.

Meghan is said to have asked if she could try on the tiara with her hairdresser prior to the wedding, but several weeks later had received no response from Angela.
Harry became irritated and felt she was neglecting his bride-to-be, and had been dragging her feet in helping Meghan choose a tiara for her own wedding.
"Harry had to intervene," Scobie claimed.
"He called his grandmother and said, 'I don't know what the hell is going on. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife.'
"Harry felt that there were those within the institution that would stop at nothing at the very least to make Meghan's life difficult.
Queen’s aide said Harry was being ‘oversensitive’ in fight over Meghan's tiara
"Meghan didn't get to try the tiara on again until a few days before the wedding."
A senior Buckingham Palace aide said Harry was being "oversensitive" in accusing Angela of making things difficult for Meghan, Finding Freedom says.
"But a source close to the prince said nothing could convince Harry that some of the old guard at the Palace simply didn’t like Meghan and would stop at nothing to make her life difficult," the book adds.
An alleged confrontation over the tiara has been widely reported for a long time, with some outlets reporting Her Majesty rejected Meghan's first choice.
Queen WARNED Prince Harry about Meghan Markle’s behaviour in wedding tiara row
The Duchess of Sussex wore the diamond and platinum Queen Mary tiara during the May 2018 ceremony, but there were claims she had preferred an emerald tiara.
The 2018 book Charles at Seventy reports its origins couldn't be established so Meghan wasn't allowed to wear it, despite groom Harry instructing staff that "what Meghan wants, Meghan gets".
However Scobie has denied this confrontation ever took place, claiming Meghan wore her first choice of tiara with the Queen's blessing.
Finding Freedom details that it was famously hot-headed Harry who had a bust-up with senior royal staff over the styling for the wedding.
Days before the book was published, Scobie angrily responded to a Mail Online article which claimed the Queen "did slap down" Meghan over her choice of wedding day tiara.
"No. Just no," he wrote on Twitter in July.
"The book does not say this. It actually refutes this played out tale."
